George K. Nyeki was born in Nairobi, Kenya. At an early age he realized that life was too short for someone not to have something to do and that if he uses his time wisely he would have stated the point that he lived at all. He is always yearning to understand life and why things are the way they are. In his journey through life, he believes that everyone has a purpose, and it’s upon each one of us to find our purpose in life. He firmly believes if you want to know your reason to be, you have to ask questions and seek answers in details. Bothered by the civil unrest going on in the world, the rise in poverty, the increasing of human greed, the nuclear war standout just to mention but a few, he saw fit to express his feelings through poetry, screenwriting and essays.

With the need to provoke our thoughts and awaken us to different understanding, his poems cover a broad spectrum of emotions. With light verses and nonsense rhymes, Nyeki searches for, discovers, and declares the fundamental beauty of life and love, as he explores what it means to live life fully, to learn from it, and to grow as an individual.

The Tearless Cry is a journey into the heart, mind, and soul of a man as he goes on a quest in the pursuit of truth through questions and answers.

He has seen fit to dedicate the proceeds from The Tearless Cry to a community that has been ignored for too long, a community that’s yet to be understood by many. The proceeds from The Tearless Cry will be sent to the homeless children and children whose parents have died from HIV/AIDS in developing countries.
