Black Tuesday
(Disaster 09.11.01)

A day that began like any other
Ended up like no other
It was Black Tuesday
That brought the smell of Dooms Day
The beginning of the end

Bam, bam, bam
A force of large magnitude shattered the earth
Downing the world’s iconic buildings
The great symbols of a great city
The pride of a great nation
Down came the crossroads of the world

Particles of dust in the air
Cake of dust blanket the street
People jump off buildings in despair
A cloud of smoke fills the air
Total chaos, total confusion everywhere
As people stampede in despair

Because of hate
Innocent lives were lost
Ugliness prevails; hate is sin

In the name of sending a message
Innocent lives were lost
Some of us lost our loved ones
Be it a friend, family member
A country lost its loving citizens

The smell of blood fills my nostrils
A blasting sound vibrating in my eardrums
Signs of fear all over my face
Endless questions overflow my brain
Is this the fall of mankind, the last of days?
Or is it the armageddon, as Revelation proclaims?
No!
It’s Black Tuesday
The beginning of the end
