Hate

For years I thought we all were
On the same page
But you penetrated our mind
Like a bad move on a land mine
You controlled our thought
Like a virus in a hard drive
You took away our free will
And tore apart our good deeds
Like a plague on locusts on a rampage

Looks like of the same age
Though invisible but with more rage
You have feeling but you don’t advance in life
You have been around since our dawn
And have always done everything wrong

Always hot and sullen and a vexation to the spirit
Buried deep inside our spleen
Always together like an invisible twin
A catalyst, ready to start a different anthem
Now I know why you are cold faced
I know why you are called HATE
Because of you we are all on a different page
